Was asking about the release of the Singular Swift and Sam replied that there was a planned release in the summer.
Spec of frame is:
Columbus tubing
29+ compatible
tapered HT
thru axles F&R
110-148 boost hub fitting
internal dropper post routing
EBB
31.6 seatpost
same geo as Mk3, probably good old blue.

Could be my second bike?

That’s pretty much what we tried to design by committee for the rooster. Except the boost as that wasn’t the standard then. Sounds good. Very good.

Funny he said “if you squint a little it’ll look like a blue rooster”

I thought that they were aiming for a Spring release along with the new Pegasus but I guess that there's a lot to juggle.

Sam mentioned a while back (when I was after some Swift forks for my Swift) that the next batch would be tapered; fortunately I managed to find a pair on Ebay.

There's a hint on the Pegasus/Shop page that a number of updated old favourites might be in the pipeline.

Really like my rooster (bought for a bargain from a stwer, many many thanks)

Would go for through axel fork and boost

Not bothered about a wider seat post personally, IMO a dropper is not right on this kind of bike so why bother, but with some boingy forks and 3 inch minions it would be a beast, so I am talking crap. QR rear would be fine though.

Same here, I’d hoped the seatpost size had remained 27.2, I like skinny steel tubes and not sure if it’s the style of bike needing a dropper. But I could be wrong perhaps the consensus is a dropper is needed/wanted by the masses

Nobody "needs" a dropper, but the ability to run one is definitely welcome. I have a 27.2 X-Fusion one on my Swift and it's brilliant - stealth routing and more choice would be even better.

@Rocketdog blimey, a [url=

Gryphon[/url] too!

Still a "stay tuned" for the steel models (sadly I'm unlikely ever to be able to afford a titanium frame).

The new steel models were originally due in Spring of 2019 to tie in with the new Pegasus & titanium models.

I'm sure that there was another thread where someone mentioned that they were on hold due to tooling costs (and CV-19 won't have helped either).

Sam's always been great at responding to emails (so perhaps drop him a line) but not so much at updating the website; we've stayed tuned for about 18 months I think.

I saw the titanium frames on the website (too spendy for me) along with the 'new steel models - stay tuned' mention, but didn't know how long ago that was written.
