Can't get the crystal ball, the soft toy and either the candelabra and jug or the rabbit picture

45. Stuck on the bust, jug / candelabra, book with the eye and the good burger cup.
EDIT - The cup was too simple. Also stuck on the plate of salad...

Not that one. The other one, between the stripey baby and the pink bag

Also stuck on the plate of salad…

It's not salad. It's more of a vegetable stew.

The crystal ball was a prop in the film (held by the Goblin King if memory serves), the stuffed toy the central character in a Studio Ghibli anime movie which is hard to clue if you simply don't know what it is.

Some of these really are just "say what you see" aren't they. Like, I'd no idea what film the "Good Burger" restaurant was referencing.

40/50 and flagging a bit now. Nudge on the rodents please? I thought they were ROUSes but they're not, beyond that I've got nothing.

The two family portraits on the drawers are just one clue, yes?

book with the eye

You just need to focus...and yodel.

Stuck on the bust, jug / candelabra

Your plea for help may have fallen on deaf ears

Damn it! Ta.

Yes. As are the candelabra/Bust/jug combo

Helpful also, I've already got that then. Thanks both. Up to 43 now.

Missing:
Chameleon in Hawaiian shirt
Preying mantis with nunchucks
Barnum poster
Rabbit portrait
Hat and suitcase

... and, uh, presumably two more I haven't even realised were discrete clues.

Chameleon in Hawaiian shirt - cant think of anything cryptic.
Preying mantis with nunchucks - what film has animals that are also martial artists....
Barnum poster - You've got to know the film about him?
Rabbit portrait - If I needed to find the person responsible for preparing that for display, what would I need to ask?
Hat and suitcase - carried by the titular character.....

Si

Chameleon in Hawaiian shirt – cant think of anything cryptic.

I thought that might be the case. Got it now via google.

Preying mantis with nunchucks – what film has animals that are also martial artists….

Ah! Got it. Thanks, never seen the film, I'd never have got that.

Barnum poster – You’ve got to know the film about him?

I do and I'd already tried that. Tried again and it worked, I must have typoed it and not noticed.

Rabbit portrait – If I needed to find the person responsible for preparing that for display, what would I need to ask?

I already had "artful dodger" from a previous clue up there. But it's not Oliver Twist and beyond that I've got nothing.

Hat and suitcase – carried by the titular character…..

Yeah, I don't recognise it, probably going to kick myself.

You'd remember his wife. She was hot.

Hat and suitcase – carried by the titular character…..

His nephew asked lots of questions.
He's a kid. That's his job.

Candelabra is stll a pain for me, even with the clues

The main clue there is the far right object.

Blue halo light?

Blue halo most things.

is the cup of tea with the fry up or is that separate?

If it's separate then I've missed it also. I've assumed it's part of the same clue that involves the full English and the thing on top of it.

is the glowing book part of the eye book or are they separate?

It's not a book, it's a box.

You can zoom in for a better look, remember.

Ignore the candlabra. It's all about the bust.

Blue halo light?

It's not a light. It's a weapon.

is the cup of tea with the fry up or is that separate?

Part of the same clue, as is the salt and pepper and the nine iron.

is the glowing book part of the eye book or are they separate?

It's not a book. It's a box. It's separate from the eye book

Oh FFS. The other one I'd missed is the girl in the centre. You know, the single biggest clue in the picture that I've totally just looked straight through. 48 now, just the rabbit and the suitcase to go.

just the rabbit

The rabbit in the painting does not really resemble the rabbit in the movie other than being white and being a rabbit.

The movie also featured two very different ducks playing the same piano.

The framed picture of the beetle thing, plus the bust...I'm assuming those are the clues to the last 2 I need (and even then I've cheated by Googling!).

I said I wouldn't and I have and I'm annoyed with myself.

Pink arrow

Where's it pointing?

and the framed picture of the beetle thing

Looks like separate stages of the same thing.

plus the bust…

Blimey, those 2 were rather obvious!!! Bust (is it Mozart???) to go and my inability to sing and understand music isn't making your clue any more helpful...but I'll keep at it, ta.

36. But I don't have kids, so I'm a bit worried about what my movie diet consists of. I'll have to pretend I've seen the porn parody versions* so people won't think I'm a wierdo.

*I don't know obviously, but I'm sure they're out there.

Pink think - which way is it pointing?

Suitcase - a male relative of a female deer?

Claw - Hey you Guys!

Spaceship - likely to be an electronic toy, but missing something and likely to say so on back of packaging. Steve Gutenberg was in it (I think).

49 down too but stuck on the picture of the beetle despite the hint on page 1.

For the beetle next to the duck what has the beetle got on its back? What's it used for?

They are not door handles or door knobs. The second part of the clue is the besom - although the answer has it in the plural.

Cheers. I’m annoyed as I recognise the shield thing, the door handles I’ve no idea.

The shield thing is a sort of gemstone. The "door handles" go with the broom.

I’m missing the paint pot and the pile of guinea pigs, no clue about the first, thought the second might be g-force but it doesn’t work.

The paint pot is a famous scene from the film in question, the film itself is nothing to do with paint.

The guinea pigs aren't guinea pigs, they're a fictional creature from a film full of fictional creatures.

It did this to me when I created an account to record the guesses (in Chrome). If you sign in to another browser (I used Firefox) it'll show correctly, or at least it did for me. Even logging out and back in on Chrome now it shows me a score of 51/50, I think a cookie is slightly on the wonk somewhere.
