I have asked about a few areas for routes already as part of this trip but I am a little stuck for ideas around Fort William which is the first proper day of our trip.

Plan is

Mon – drive up from borders and do half day at witches trails
Tues – do long ride in fort william area
wed – ride on Skye

So i need a longer ride in the Fort Bill area and I would prefer not to ride the trial centres. The more epic the better…

Just do the TdN route – it’s as good as anything else in the immediate vicinity and navigation’s a doddle. Details on the No Fuss website.

Bit of west highland way? Doesn’t lend itself well to loops but it crosses the road multiple times so if you’ve got more than one car you can basically pick it up at the distance of your choice then ride back up,then go back and get the car (taxi works, etc)

The tour of ben nevis route is the failsafe route but would like to find if there are any other options.

Also willing to look at places between fort Bill and skye!!!
