    How wrong you are. In hawick it’s rum and milk and last year a statement was released saying women are welcome to the huts but it is hoped out of respect for tradition they stay outside as it aye been.

    (Trying to be light hearted but unfortunately the above statement about the huts is true.)

    I would also ask about internet and mobile signal. I know that as I ride out of teviot into ettrick there is no signal, I’m not sure there’s any past tushielaw internet ain’t going to be fast (compared to town/city).
