[Closed] Lordy, Lordy, can a man eat too many sprouts?
I love em, can't get enough of their little green deliciousness -)
Anyone else a fan of these miniature brassica bombshells.
Bring on the next round....
Apologies if I repeat myself, but I guess I will be shortly ๐
Ya, eat it all the time just simply boil them with salt. ๐
Normally just plain steamed but par-boiled then fried with bacon & garlic today.
NOMNOMNOMNOMNOM!!
I'm having a good attempt here, bacon and garlic as well
Some years ago I ate 71 with my Christmas dinner ( for a bet)
Still luv um
One's to many for me ๐
Had quite a few at lunch time at my parents - just lightly boiled, then finished off in a little double cream.
Then had quite a few more after lunch while helping with the wiping up. And some of the left over roast potatoes as well.
I feel that the sprouts are going to be making their presence felt shortly though......
I went to prep them earlier and found that I forgot to buy them....
Would have done them the same as essel.
Yeuch Satan's own testes!! , but my wife and 9yr old son luv em , the big lad ate 10 good sized ones with his Christmas dinner (he better brush his teeth before kissing me at bedtime)
As a kid loathed them but absolutely love them now..eat them all year round.
Each to their own and all that, but I have to ask, if you eat all the sprouts on your plate, what do you throw at other diners during the latter part of the meal?
I just tend to have the one and eat it first so I can enjoy the rest of my meal...
Sprouts - food of the gods.
Love 'em! Mrs Binners did a load, with pancetta. Something she's now bitterly regretting as an eye watering toxic fug is engulfing the room
*PARP*
Love em and back firing like an old ford escort at the moment.
The missus loves 'em and indulged happily today.
Thinking of trying to get myself evicted to the spare room, it's going to be pretty funky come the morning.
I was told that they're 20% sweeter than normal this year.
I love sprouts... Nothing better than picking your own on chrimble morn,
We do ours by steaming, then a little honey drizzle mixed with toasted walnuts
Coated with olive oil and salt and roasted at 220 in he oven for half an hour.
Yesyesyesyesyes! Love sprouts -wonderful things. Enjoyable when eaten and they keep on giving for hours afterwards too.
Parp.
Plain steamed today, but quite like roasted with chorizo and haloumi with a bit of sweet chilli sauce.
