I need to call upon the collective might of stw to navigate the electronics jungle.

Looking for a tablet. Need wifi, GSM, GPS and a micro-sd slot. Size about 7″.
To surf the net, listen to iplayer, look at youtube etc.

I think they’re the same as ones that PC World sell for a few quid more

At that price the nexus 7 would be top of my list. Nine quid over budget and no sd card support, but made up for by the screen and user experience.

You can root it (or get a three quid app from the market) and use an SD with a USB OTG cable.

The nest Asus fonepad is launching on Friday

7″ with 3G, micro SD slot

Also works as a phone which is good for me as I only need to make occasional calls as I have a work Blackberry.

    Cost is £180 though.
