About grips. Pretty boring thread, Sorry.

I'm looking to get some new grips, must be lock on.

I have been using the renthal super tacky grips for a while ( non lock-on version) and really like them

So what I'm looking for is a nice thin lock on grip that isn't fully mounted on the hard plastic shell like the ODI ones.

Is there any thing on the market that fits the bill?

The reason I ask is that I'm not sure how the glue of the non lock-on renthals will be compatible with carbon bars.

thanks

Hope ones fit the bill, but I don't think I like mine (anyone for a lightly used set of green hope grips?)

RaceFace Half Nelsons fir the bill too, and look nice and tacky.

I have the lock-on super tacky Renthals and really like them.

New ODI Aaron Gwin (AG-1) are single lockring too.

thanks for the responses

Do the new renthals, the hope ones and the PRO ones have the grips sitting on a hard plastic tube??

Whyte and orange branded lock on grips are stupidly thin, I can't get on with either. Can't say for sure that they're mounted on a tube or not, but TBH I'd expect that they were (actually I think that maybe the whytes aren't but as I sold mine last weekend fitted to a bike, I'm unwilling to commit). Would expect you to be able to pick either of there up cheap, as they're OEM kit.

Charge Sponge grips don't sit on the plastic.

I have a set of the Imprint grips and I'm loving them!
Went for the full barrel ones instead of the "lite" - no issues with hanging them off the end of cut bars if you want them a bit wider.
Really tacky, grips good and they are the same shape as your hand!
