It's more like a self-indulgent showreel than anything with a coherent narrative tbh. It doesn't tell me anything about the places, the culture, the rider, the journey. It's just pretty moving pictures, which is fine, but I'm not sure it's the 'most impressive MTB vid ever?' YMMV,
A Cynic
BWD +1. (Very) pretty but otherwise generic. With a tiny bit of extra info it could be a great showreel for the places with those landscapes as they look stunning.
Fantastic stuff.... I love all the Kilian Bron videos and this is beautifully done.
No .
Tough crowd as ever ☝️🤣
What absolutely incredible locations. The filmographyness was insane. 😳
That city section looked a bit like it could have been La Paz. Crazy city.
Very visually impressive video, cheers! 😊
Nah, I think Seasons is better. 😉
Ignore him up there ^^^ he's talking out of his arse again. It was Roam, that's the really good one that I liked. Seasons was okay, but Roam was the best one.
C. xx
Not for me. They've spent far too much time rolling down the pages of National Geographic and not enough time of the riders skills
Quite skinny tyres.
That dog was lucky.
Hope they let those two keep the bump hats, always handy.
The skier was well off piste, bloody climate change.
Needed moare slowmo.
I love a backlit gap jump 👍
Frame didn't crack.
The locals looked impressed.
Moderately impressive.
Just the right amount of Llama
The music for the first part of that sounded very similar to the ones used in the Diamondback Dream series from a few years back...I liked the music.
The Brendan Semenuk segment from unreal is still top of the list IMO, the music matches the chilled smoothness of the movement perfectly.
and Danny's "way back home"would come in second, again the music sets the atmosphere that the riding matches.
The Collective was(is) the greatest mountain bike movie.
A rider after Scotty Laughland's heart 🙂
I thought the sections including and after the dune skiing were really good. Strange that they were all put in so late on

Now we're talking 😊
It doesn’t tell me anything about the places, the culture, the rider, the journey
So rather than a 7 minute Youtube edit, it should've been more of a feature, like Seasons or The Art of Flight?
Yeah I agree. I'd watch it for sure.
Cheers for posting Weeksy. Very nice vid 🙂
I thought it was a bit dull tbh.
Anyhow, Sprung 1 FTW. Must be 35 years old by now.
Slowmo skids and wheelies National Geographic jizzfest. 3/10 not as good as BMX Bandits.
Spring 1 was 1997 or 1998 I think.
A bit too over produced for me.
Kilian Bron's POV enduros are a much better watch
I don't think this has ever been bettered:
I thought it was a bit dull tbh.
Round the back of Swindon Nationwide obviously spoiled you 🤣
Monday the bike movie
Scenery was nice, didn't really notice the bike/rider
Sand at 4.00 - He clearly doesn't pay for his own drivetrain.
Watched Roam in Lost Lake Park, Whistler, on an outdoor screen in Summer 2006. Magic. The cable shots blew my mind. How far have we come with Drones...?

Me neither. I don't tend to cast these things to the telly and just watch them on my phone, so I guess I'm missing the wow factor because of the tiny screen. Don't get me wrong, it looks great, I'm just not sure that it's as impressive as his POV stuff.
Nice geography.
good vid. loved the landscapes.
Beautiful video but it kind of reminded me of one them arty perfume tv adverts.
Watched 10 seconds and turned it off. Realised it wasn't going to be for me...
