Anyone got any idea where I can get some full finger jobs for a 4yr old?
for this time of year intop winter I'd tend to look at ski type gloves - they're warm, waterproof and available in tiny sizes - kids that age don't really need padded palms as most of their weight seems to be on the saddle.
He wants them though.
Halfords do a range of kids full finger gloves;

661 do some decent kids gloves in small sizes, as do Fox.
wwaswas - Why would anyone need padded palms on gloves for a mountain bike?

Why would they not? 😉
most mountainbikes have rubber grips
I've got a pair of kid's 661s - like new. Might be a bit big for 4, but he'll grow into them 🙂 Interested?
I've looked all over for gloves for my two (now 4 and 6), never found a full finger one that wasn't much too wide and long in the finger for hands below 6 or 7 years old. Including the 661 kids sizes (though they are 'proper' gloves)
Mine have the smallest size bontrager fingerless mitts, which come in a proper size for tiny hands black bontrager logo for boys and blue/pink flowers for girls. My two like them very much.
last year got mine gloves. The then 7yr old got 661 comp gloves, youth size large. They do youth small and med too, so should get some to fit.
9yr old got ladies XS sombrio.
Out at the weekend and fingers were getting a bit cold.
2 options for this - those really strechy "magic" gloves fit underneath and give some more warmth.
Then when it gets a bit colder, just go for ski gloves. Not as much control, but there's usually ice around so they are not doing anything too technical at that point.

I usually go to Millets and get some kids fleecey gloves, a few sizes and not alot of cash, will withstand showers, my lad certainly likes his.
The 661 gloves are good as are the dakine Prodigy (althought not sure if these are available in the UK)
The dakine's are available- just got some in medium for my 7 yr old daughter from Bigfoot Bikes in Hayes/Bromley.
although not cycling gloves, worth a look. These fit our 5y old very well.

Decathlon have loads of childrens cycling gear including gloves. I bought some padded baddies (£6.99) some winter longs (£9.99), short sleaved top (£5) and some long finger gloves for my 8yr old last weekend. They come in smaller sizes too.
