Thinking about building a tourer up using a kaffenback frame. Bearing in mind the comments about the flexible nature of the roadrat back end (in some peoples opinions), how sturdy is the kaffenback? I'm a biffer, so I need to be sure it'll cope.

I've owned both. Kaffenback feels a lot stiffer, very similar to Genesis Day One/CDF.

I never noticed the back end being flexy on the roadrat though, it was the front triangle but its fine without heavy panniers.

Can't say I noticed any untoward noodliness on the Outer Hebrides last month, even though this was my first time touring and I was probably carrying too much stuff (and not the lightest kit either)... ๐Ÿ˜ณ
