I’m pretty sure that i didn’t get a pint back up with the towels

I think it’s gone down the gaps between the boards

    Anything else I can do?

If it was beer, it would be a waste…

If it was mdf, chipboard or veneer I would be worried but think hardwood (snigger) could look after itself. I Am Not A Carpenter.

Apart from the sodden bit, that wood will be bone dry. Rip it up and keep it for the woodburner next winter.

Replace with lino and never worry about spilling stuff again.

I’ve spilled plenty on my hardwood floors and they’ve been fine. I’d let it dry out properly though (don’t put anything on top of it that could block it air drying).

I did have problems once where a dodgy christmas tree stand leaked slowly over the course of a month and warped the boards slightly, however I think that was because it was over a long period of time and I had something over the top of the floor.

Rub your nose in it to make sure you never do it again

It’ll stand out a mile I’m afraid. Best do the whole room.

A quick calculation to assess what percentage of floor area you have covered with one pint will tell you how many more pints you need to cover the entire floor.
