*I'm not bothered about being older but cheering up is in order: so far this week my car has developed a significant and expensive fault 400 miles from home, I've broken my blender making hummus, and my partner is stuck in Chicago and on his 3rd (expensive) attempt of trying to get all the covid tests and paperwork in place to get here.

Update: he has boarding passes and they’ve taken his bags. Looks like this is happening! A small Kafka mini play in the middle of the ongoing rom com! Can’t wait until we can live in the same place and don’t have to go through this travel stress on a regular basis!

@Cougar just the airport! Aer Lingus has a good route from there. He actually lives in Castle Valley, near Moab - the connecting flights and extra time zones were the cause of all the logistical nightmares.
