In very similar circumstances, I recently daydreamed my way onto the wrong train. Also daydreamed past my station once or twice. Trains have that magical quality.

never forgotten to get on a train but I did once leave my Klein Pulse MTB on the train when I got off. Luckily it was the first stop in Bedford as there’s a second stop only a minute further on so I sprinted over there once I’d realised to find the guards staring at a very expensive bike that some pillock had left on the train.

I did something similar in a fast food resturant once. I queued up, ordered and paid. I accepted my change and then walked out without any food.

To be fair I’d had a lot on my plate that day; or not as the case was later when I realised I was still hungry.

What are these “train” things you talk about? Are you too poor to own an audi??

It’s OK, I fell asleep on the train on the way back from a gig last night and missed my stop. It cost me a £50 cab ride home.
