I'm conemplating buying a second hand ti frame it did retail for a £999 and went up to £1250 i believe. The frame is being advertised at £900, I'm thinking of offering £550-£650. What do you think?

depending on age and condition sounds about right .general rule of thumb is 50 % new cost then add % or minus depending on condition.if that makes sense ?

Yeah I'm aware of the general rule of thumb but am also aware that some things hold their price better than others, I guess ti is one of them.

Mleh offer was not accepted still no way am i paying £900 for a S/H frame, could buy new for a ton more. Nice frame though.

I doubt anybody would buy 2nd hand for £100 less than new – I bet he'll drop the price when he doesn't sell it! It's only worth what people are willing to pay…
