I hate to set off in heavy rain.light stuff I’m not bothered, but coming from Cumbria I got used to the wet very young. 🙂
Like TJ &PPoddy etc ,I’ll only go out now if i have to get the miles in. However , whenever i force myself out in adverse conditions or even if I can’t be arsed , I ALWAYS feel much better afterwards.
Well ,apart from the rough ride , when the rain was stupid torrential.

If it’s proper lashing down then I usually wait until dark and go for a night ride on my SS with front and back fenders. That way you can’t actually see the rain!

TBH riding in tha rain has become much more enjoyable since I bought some winter boots. Having dry feet really does keep you warmer for longer.
