Converting my Pro 2 evo’s to 12mm bolt through.

I have the end caps. Does the longer end cap go on the drive side?

Also, never played with my hub before. Is the free hub supposed to be able to be pulled off so easily and when pulled off, do I just push it back on?

Yes it’s supposed to pull off very easily and go back on again. Not sure re the long one on drive side. I remember it being fairly intuitive. Check Hope’s own website, they will have it on there somewhere.

When I did mine the silver end cap went on the drive side and the coloured end cap on the non drive side ( assuming you haven’t got a silver conversion kit of course )

Edit just reailised this is an evo hub mine was just a pro2 so the above may not be correct sorry

Thanks guys. Relieved regards the free hub. Almost crapped my pants when it just fell off.

Trial an error will sort it out. I’ll know shortly which was the right way.
