Looks ultra niche and completely buzzword equipped…Posted 8 years ago
That is neither “niche” or “attention seeking” enough. 😀Posted 8 years ago
A guy made it in his shed thread on mtbr quite interesting 8)Posted 8 years ago
the seatstay split glued back together with prit stick?Posted 8 years ago
Not overly pretty but I’d be damn proud if it was my handywork.Posted 8 years ago
If nicheness was a computer game, that bike would be an end of level boss!Posted 8 years ago
Pile of shit.Posted 8 years ago
The builder has a level of competence beyond the understanding of many STWers…Posted 8 years ago
He looks very happy with it.Posted 8 years ago
just because you HAVE the competence to build that bike, doesn’t mean you SHOULD.Posted 8 years ago
would be interesting to hear how it rides, because that’s still important isn’t it?
I bet he’s gutted at the comments 🙄
He gets my thumbs up, Turner et al started in similar ways.Posted 8 years ago
Al, you’re getting predictable.Posted 8 years ago
In supporting those who get off their backsides and create bike-stuff and not those who flame them?
I have no issues with that.Posted 8 years ago
Impressive. Why don’t more fatbikes use Lefty forks?Posted 8 years ago
The only thing predictable on this thread is the negative posters.
The guy has built a bike using a method that not many people know much about.Posted 8 years ago
Seem quite a constructive thing to do with your spare time to me.
much as it pains me to agree with Al… I have to admit that I would give my right ball to have the space, time, funds and skillz to build something like that..
and the fella has managed to produce something that looks like it arrived here in a time machine from a future that had turned out sexy..Posted 8 years ago
Only 2 or 3 negative’ish posters ssj which probably means that most of the usual suspects are dumbstruck with awe and admiration 😉Posted 8 years ago

Unfortunately it happens a lot on this forum. It discourages people putting up their projects so we all lose. I use mtbr as my primary forum for technical stuff for that very reason.
Remember the response to Al’s carbon fibre brake mount? OK, there was some reasonable questioning of the advisability, but there was an awful lot of just plain meanness from the sort of people who would have difficulty assembling Lego. The best revenge – he was right. 🙂Posted 8 years ago
