Ahoy hoy!

having been on my first tour, and splurged too much on a nice sleeping bag, i WAS going to look into bivvying, however part of me is still convinced that a hammock setup would be LOADS better, if only be it more fun 🙂

a little search on here indicates there are some people around who do hammock up from time to time.

please show me your “rigs” if you do!

the only downside i can think of is if your chums are inclined to bivvy, they wouldnt appreciate sleeping on tree roots, so may abandon you for less fun sleeping terrain… pussies

You could get away with a hammock and a tarp rather than a bivvy but would add to options out on the trail 😀

Never got on with hamocks when we where in the Jungle.. Only saving garce was they where quicker to put up than an A frame was.. 😐
