jamj1974 I love that. A few years ago they released a few live gigs from the Phillmore on iTunes. Each night finished with three covers, Beatles, the Band, Stones etc. My favourite is the Neil Young covers. A few years ago I saw Rich Robinson in Glasgow and I think he finished with two or three Neil Young songs, best gig ever.

Love Thunder Road but when you get past the bombast it’s a desperate story, 2 kids jumping off the world because they’ve got nothing else, this version just nails it (if you doubt me, listen to the Promise- “Thunder Road, we were gonna take it all then threw it all away”)
