Hopefully going to do Gisburn this morning and haven’t been there for around 18 months, anyone know if there’s been any changes recently and what it’s riding like with the rain that’s been put down??

Gisburn is very well looked after during adverse weather. During the winter it’s even regularly gritted to keep the trails clear. 😉

Its riding a bit more technical than it would have done 18 months ago as it appears to be getting alot more use of late. Bloody braking bumps too!

In all I think its improved things as its made it more technical.

It’s mostly riding very well. Puddles here and there but it hasn’t rained here this week, and is drying out nicely. There is the odd braking bump which has turned into a hole, but you can generally see them coming.

There is a short muddy, rooty, droppy bit on the second half which is much tougher than it was a year ago, but still rideable, and certainly walkable! I think it’s scheduled for repairs at some point.
