My two and a bit year old Edge 1000 battery is dead. Won't hold a charge even when switched off. Works fine on the turbo when the charger is plugged in.
Any experiences or recommendations for replacements?
I've seen a couple on Amazon and ebay but no reviews of them.

Contact Garmin. They will take yours and give you a refurb unit with warranty. Was about £60 for an 800 last year. Was as good as new.

Feels a bit safer than £40 for an unknown aftermarket battery that I have to fit myself!
