O.K. This is wierd and funny (as in actually ha, ha funny).

I’ve heard of people smelling burning constantly as a symptom of brain tumours etc.

Now the funny/wierd part i can smell sh*t almost constantly, i’ve not trodden in any, been sanchez’d or shaved with a bum razor or any of the other helpful suggestions i’ve had from colleagues.

It’s o.k. friends misses has a medical degree suggested sinusitis/post nasal drip as a possibility.

Surely sinusitis would give you a headache too? Front of head, around eyes?

Seriously (and you’ve probably already looked this up) but that – the unexplainable smell of faeces – is a symptom of mental illness, specifically I think schizophrenia.

hmmmm… I’ve had this lately as well (on and off)… didn’t know about the schizophrenia bit… that’s a bit worrying 🙁

Are you sure you dont’ live near a chicken farm? In Bicester there is a chicken farm on the outskirts and regularly you can smell sh**e it’s rank! Why the **** do I live here!? Who knows …… not even good MTBing!!!! I’m clearly just a fool!

Is your arse scratching finger the same digit as your nose picking finger?

If you have nasal polyps you can get a smell continuously because of the trapped rubbish behind them. Its a real smell and its pretty foul
