FGF is often a series of photos of bad modelling, so it seems in keeping to share some wedding dress shopping nonsense.

Have those Specialized shoes not been ridden much, but walked around in a lot? They look really tired.

Are endura doing a mens version of the 3/4 Humvee lites?

As for wedding dress choice – no idea as I’m clueless when it comes to that sort of thing.

@dirkpitt74 It looks like the Lites are women’s only, but there is a non-Lite version for men (and women).

The correct answer to dresses is: none of them

You look amazing in all of them, He’s a lucky man

Also I’ve got that chilco vest, and it’s warmer than a warm thing with a cat sat on it’s lap next to warming fire in a warm house on a sunny day.

If you’re worried about how often you can wear a posh frock, perhaps you could hire one. It’s all the rage, apparently. Just make sure you don’t get it caught in the chain on the way to the ceremony.

What has been said to Amanda to produce the “you wanna’ come over ere an say tha” pose in the third photo for the jersey?

I’ll ask Mrs brain where she got her wedding dress from, seem to recall it was about £75 from somewhere in white rose centre. That said I’d happily pay significantly more not to go to white rose centre or the like

Thought this going to be about TJ’s thread! Got to be the Endura Singletrack jacket for the wedding. New revenue stream for Trail centres- get married on the trail & reception at the site cafe.

There’s something just not right with the Scott, the proportions just look a little wrong on it. And also, handmade tyres? Really? I think that is probably the most niche thing I have heard so far in this place.

Dress: Wear something that you are comfortable in. If it’s going to cost you the same or more as a pair of carbon-soled SPD disco slippers, make sure you can wear it for other things as well. Most wedding-y though (IMO): Left-most.

The last two on the right were fashioned from bed sheets, you don’t fool me 😀.
Nice of Endura to include matching nail varnish with their women’s hummvee jackets.

Handmade tyres are not niche at all, just not common in the mountain bike world.

Challenge are famed for it, with the supple ride they provide from their casings and are the biggest brand in cyclocross because of it. Same benefits transfer across to gravel and road. I love them

When I was a bike mechanic we used to run a mile when we saw a Scott coming through the door. 10 years later nothing has changed.

Coincidently I went to a wedding at a trail centre just last weekend. I hadn’t paid attention to the venue and so didn’t take a bike. Doh!

And there was a comedy moment with a kid careering off line and so yelling ‘no. no! NO!’ mid-ceremony.

I heard some features at a trail centre can require commitment but that’s not quite what I expected!

Yeah the blue one, or the one on the right- your right- if you want more traditional.

Does the MT500 jacket have a removable hood or at least proper hood stowage? And could you please tell us these things about every jacket with a hood? It’s a pretty big deal

The removable hood can double up as a veil for the walk up the isle

Debenhams, so I guess that’s not helpful

I’d agree that spending hard earned on a posh frock to only wear once doesn’t make sense and whilst you needn’t spend a fortune it’s important you feel a million dollars on the lovely day.
I personally live the idea of us stw fans buying you the dress,no not choose it for you that would highly likely be a disaster according to my good lady but I would love the idea of the dress been gifted from the stw massive forum magazine call us what you will I’ll say stw family .
I know you are far to humble to ever consider it and all I’m wanting to do is ask you @stwhannah if you would allow us the stw family to contribute to your big day dress (not a fan of thatvterm but hey ho) lovely day dress as a thank you and as a wedding gift from us all to you .
Maybe @amanda could convince you for us

In all the furore surrounding Hannah’s wedding dress conundrum we appear to have overlooked the price of that Scott…

    How **** much??? £11K? Seriously?

    This, I like.

no not choose it for you

This, not so much. It could be the sartorial equivalent of Boaty McBoatface.

That’s very sweet of you but my mum has already said she’ll buy my dress! And I’ve just ordered one off Etsy. It might result in me hugging trees and harnessing my inner moon goddess. Or something. If the effect is suitably comic I’ll be sure to share before I return it!

I know. you could buy a Santa Cruz with xc32s or an ebike with rs 35s for that.

I don’t think it’s that crazy for what it is which is a top tier, best of everything utterly daft hyper bike.
The crazy thing is that flippancy aside you really could buy a fairly bog standard bike for that sort of money today.

I like 7Mesh kit, but I find advertising that you can store your clothing ‘on the bike’ laughable. Surely it just gets covered in mud/shit/water and becomes unwearable??

Shin guards look interesting. I’ve long wondered about a pair for late summer to deal with the worst of the brambles and nettles.

Had a pair of 33mm Challenge Strada Bianca’s on my Thorn Audax. Very supple tyre, yet still fast rolling even at relatively low pressures.
