what good free software is out there people?
I use the windows live movie maker. It works fine for me!
cheers will give it a go
Think you need the Windows 7 version though to make use of the HD footage. The version on XP doesn't do HD.
but you can convert it using MP4cam2Avi (google it- free download)
Yup, but then that's lossy (or at least was when I did it)
Abusing free demos of Sony Vegas HD Platinum forever works.
Videolab is working quite well for me. It'll deal with the MP4 format without having to convert and will upload straight to youtube (although not in HD - I'm not sure why yet), possibly need the paid version.
Took me a little while to get used to the way it works. You have to load the media, and then extract clips from it to put in the timeline, I wrongly assumed that I would need to put the entire video into the timeline and delete the bits I didn't want. Of course, they may all work like that.
blinty im sure iv see u around wyllie???
yes you may well have seen me about the wyllie! biggins??
hahahaha what software have u got?
movie maker is alright but I find the new interface more fiddly to use than proper video software ๐
