had first night ride tonight. Superb fun, over the bars at about 15mph, somersaulted into barbed wire fence and somehow managed to bend my 3 week old maxlight frame with my left shin, which has a rather pretty bruise on it. Wire ripped through three layers and gave me a little hole to look at.
Still enjoyed it though, can’t wait to get back out there!

How much will a large dent in top tube effect the frame strength?

I have an older Maxlight with a small dent in the top tube. I’m happy with it, but a big dent, especially with a crease/line in the middle I’d be binning. Contents insurance?

Nice to be out riding though, I’ve not had a proper nightride for too long.
