Picked a bike up off a mate last night… she’s complaining the BB is making a horrible noise and the cassette is loose, taken cranks off and bearings seem really clean and smooth running, popped seals off and packed with grease (off bikepacking tomorrow so no time for sourcing replacements anyway) reassembled tightened cassette, new bartape quick gear check and good to go! But shift is horrible feels really cheap and hard to set up, chainline when in largest sprocket feels really draggy on front chainring…First time I’ve looked at Ekar and not impressed so far… does this sound familiar to anyone else?
