My mums first car after passing her test was an Allegro Vanden Plas , it was lovely on the inside and made you forget how awful the outside looked. It was pooh brown and I hated it.

I think mainly because he can and secondly it’s relatively easy to get a beetle sitting very low.

The back of the eBay one looks like a montego, especially the lights.
