The ‘wadi’ dogs in Oman all seemed to be a crossbreed of medium sized dog with Alsatian/ collie features. Pretty much left to their own devices and source food by scavenging or gobbling up stray cats.
Reckon some sorta mongrel breed would thin out the kennel club sorts and in turn create a healthy well adapted breed to whatever opportunity they had to inherit.
but whatever dogs are ace, even mongrel ones.
