I talk to pretty much all animals I see (On solo rides).

“Hey Blackbird how you doin mate?”

    High 5’ing is silly.

But I do do a kung-fu block on pine branches when I realise that ducking isn’t going to be enough.

Talking to animals is usually limited to “get out the frickin’ way vermin” (if it’s a skyrat), or “whoa! wtf!” (when it’s another close encounter with a red kite or wild boar)

I do find myself shoulder charging them a lot more than they, or I, would consider appropriate. Or indeed safe.

I do talk to cows and sheep if I’m riding through a field with them in. They haven’t started answering back yet but I live in hope that I’ll win them over.

I have Jedi’s (Tony Doyle) trail riding mantra in my head as I ride!! 😀

I know this is an obvious statement give the company but my goodness I love to ride my bike 😀

I’m with Chambord on this one.

A sheep went “baaaa” to me once, and yes, I went “baaaa” back.

I swear at nettles while riding through them.

I always say ‘Alright Boyo’ to sheep, they generally react in a positive manner.

I also Moo at cows. I grew up surrounded by cows and do a good Moo – the looks on their faces are 100% worth it whenever someone else catches me.
