[Closed] Do Doctors read results before receptionist tells you the result ?

Do Doctors read results before receptionist tells you the result ?

Phoned Doc to get the results of my stool sample and she said the Docs not looked at them yet, and wont be back till Friday afternoon, so I wont be able to get results till then.

Is this normal ? I thought result was given conclusive on results form and then nice lady at reception tells you...isn't only the doc hasn't read it when its bad news ?

Feeling slightly anxious !
