Anybody else had it? Been having problems this last week and a bit and it's driving me crackers. Its right wrist and I'm very right handed. Brushing my teeth hurts, wiping my arse hurts, driving hurts, typing ain't great, I can't function on site at work (lighting designer/rigger/power guy - lots of heavy lifting, tool use etc).

I can't exactly rest it at the moment (work is really busy) and ice, compression and ibuprofen has made jack all difference.

I can feel the tendons in my wrist graunching as I move my hand - feels like gritty brake cables. Not pleasant.

Anybody got any quick fixes? I missed riding off road last weekend, I can't even change gear on the road bike. Am going to go for a long ride of the fixie instead this weekend. (still commuting by bike as it's quicker than driving and hurts about the same).

I don't curently have a doctor (not needed one in the last 8 or 9 years), and it's going to screw things up work wise if I can't use my right hand properly by the middle of next week.

Any advice?

Cheers,

Jon

paint the nails on your left hand and use her for a while, sounds like Mrs right could do with a little rest?

I'd say find a doctor.

doctor but if you're determined to avoid one Voltarol or other anti-inflammatory.

Self medicating on anti-inflams for borked tendons? This way lies gastrointestinal ulcers.

Go find a doctor.
