    Can anyone recommend a cool base layer. I just when to blacks and the only thing they had was a helly hansen dry for about £30.

    anything cheaper out there that is worth bothering with.

    cotswold have ss icebreaker merino for 20 quid just now.

    There's some cheap Merino Icebreakers at Cotswold Outdoor at the mo – limited sizes though.
