I’ve used Continental Vertical Pro most of my adult life on my MTB and still think they are the best thing since sliced bread.

Now 29’ing and can’t find anything to replace them.

I know there used to be a good amount of vertical devotees on here also…what you using.

We ignore them like the bad idea they are & stay the one true path.

Thanks Kiwijohn…you’re right I suppose. What a fool I am.

Ignitors or just see it as a good opportunity to try out newer, better tyres (speaking as someone who has used verticals 8 or 9 years ago before switching).

I hate verticals sorry. They are hard and slippery, unpredictable and simply dangerous. Please try another brand you will see what I mean and you’ll kick yourself for putting up with them for so long.

Conti 29er tyres seem to be a bit pants

The Rubber Queen isn’t black chilli compound and will see you in A&E if you put it on the front

X Kings, aren’t that fast, don’t grip that well and are poor on wet rock
