Any recommendations? Something to go with my old magicshine mj872 (i think 1200 lumens that is). I’ve only ever used the light on the bike, but i think it’s obvious handle and helmet light is sensible.

So what you got? cheaper the better. but functional, sturdy and rechargable.

I bought a light from amazon described as such:

BYBO® 5000 Lumens 2x Cree XM-L U2 LED Bike Bicycle Cycling Light Headlight Headlamp Front Head Lights 8000mAh 18650 Rechargeable Battery Pack USB Charger

22 quid. Bought a light and motion helmet strap mount for just a few quid.

Works really well. I’m not keen on the charger it came with so just the one from my other light.

Been using the solar storm branded version of that light for years, solid light, nice light unit with a low profile. I’d be slightly suspect of the quality of that battery but you can always buy a better version from the likes of Torchy (the battery boy) later
