Right I am a bit perplexed.

I have change my hard tail from 3 x 9 gash setup to 1 x 10 set up.

I have removed the bottom bracket taken out a spacer and replaced with a bottom bracket captive guide.
Fitted a 11-36 on the back. Know for the problem.

The angle of the chain when on the 36t is so much you can feel a increase in force need to spin, next one down is fine.

So can I shim the sprocket across ? If not any advice.

P.s the nine speed was fine for chain line

Have you adjusted the b screw on the rear mech to take into account the larger cog size? Just a thoughtt

Are these to space the ring inwards?

The b screw will probably need to be wound in- i.e. pull the mech further to the rear. The aim is to stop the mech upper pulley striking the cassette when on the largest cog which can create drag

The spacers look as if they could be used, but I have no experience of using them, sorry

OK I did do the b screw just not did not know it was called that!

I will look at the axle spacers tomorrow. If not make some spacers, I assume they won’t have to be very wide at all?
