[Closed] Canyon Nerve owners - Headsets
Friends headset in a 2013 Nerve is on its last legs and my google foo is weak.
What headsets are compatible?
From what I understand the bottom is just the bearing, no lower cup but can't find a bearing that is the right size. He does need both top and bottom.
Help me singletrack.
IS52 isn't it? Try the cane creek headset fit tool to comfirm, superstar and cane creek bearings both fit. I had fun and games trying to find what fitted my strive also, canyon no help at all.
changed mine 3 times got them all from superstar!

40x52x7
but that is on a 2011 Nerve!
This has been ridiculous. A decent info page on Canyon's site would have made life a tad easier.
Looks like the bottom bearing is still 40x52x7mm with 45 degree angles so superstar can sort that out.
Top one is 31x40x6.5 with 45 degree angles. Hoping I can just get some new bearings and re-use the cane creek headset body.
Is this the Nerve XC?
Mine's just over 2 years old and the headset is getting a it grumbly. I only notice when it's up on the stand but I guess it'll need changing soon
Cane Creek site for me comes up as :
TOP - ZS 44/28.6
BOTTOM - IS 52/40
His is the AM but looking at the specs I think the headset sizing is the same.
