Hello all,
We've hired a campervan and will make our way to Zurich to visit friends. The plan is to take the general route:
Brussels (BE) -> Colmar (FR) -> Annecy / Jura (FR) -> somewhere in Switzerland -> Zurich (CH) -> Black Forest (DE) -> Luxembourg (LU) -> Brussels (BE)
Can anybody recommend either a dog friendly campsite or aire/village étape ? Not fussy about facilities; just happy to hear of any recommendations.
Cheers,
Rich

The Huttopia group of sites are usually cheap(ish) and dog friendly - there's one in Divonne near Geneve

This is useful for planning aire/stellpaltze stops
French campsites are generally cheapest, ime. Also plenty of aires dotted about the countryside.
Park4night app might be useful.

This place was nice. Not certain it's on your route but saarburg is very pretty and there is lots to do.
Some ideas I have at various times camped at (campervan)
Black Forest:

Luxembourg / German border. Usually as a one night, good stop off to and from the channel ports if driving further on.

Right on the banks of the Moselle between Trier and Koblenz.

Lauterbrunnen- Not camped here but stayed in a chalet just up the road and always fancied going back.
