    Thinking of planning a weekend away at Kielder , 2 man tent job + bikes. Can anyone recommend a site near the trails?

    I don’t know about public sites but having camped there when I was a scout I would say don’t do it after mid may.

    You will be eaten alive in the summer.

    Hmm so maybe the one in the village is the best option. Just thought it might be good to camp out halfway round.
