Going through a stressy time at the moment with one of the kids and I want to get back to the gym as a strategy to manage / let off steam. (short version is it is a very frustrating situation to deal with).

I don’t know if I will stick at it so don’t want to splurge. I seem to recall someone posted a link to a site that was very keen on price a while back which did all the usual Nike, UA etc.

I know it is counter intuitive for the parsimonious types but would you share the knowledge?

    was it sportpursuit ?

… But you must have a pair of shorts and a t-shirt already?

You don’t need special clothing to go to a gym.

    Probably Start Fitness, though.

Why go to a gym at all!? Bodyweight training for free!

    Kit, or a gym?

If kit – then Decathlon….just as good as labels and fraction of the cost.

If a gym – then join a Bootcamp. Much more fun rolling around in the rain and mud than in a sweaty gym (does tie you to class times though)
