Some of these reviews are a couple of years out of date so might not be as relevant ? FWIW I’ve just started wearing a pair of Pearl Izumi Launch pants / trousers and am really impressed so far with the fit , so different material wise from my old Endura’s , I bought them and the Summit’s earlier this year when Freewheel were having a half price clear out . So I now have the seasons covered from now to the end of next Spring ( hopefully) for £100 .

Why do endura bother with the mt500 name? I have or had 4 pairs of endura mt500 trousers. They are all different. And none of them are the ones in this article, although to be fair they have qualified it with “spray trouser”

They are all nice but only 2 of them go over my big knee pads. It would be difficult to buy again without knowing exactly what you are going to get.

But in general, trousers are excellent. No muddy dingleberries in your leg hair, less spray onto your socks and hence drier feet. A single item to remove at the car or back door.
