I think it’s harder to convince someone to kill themselves and others then most people seem to think. I also think that terrorists are still humans, and do still think logically at least occasionally.

I’d probably agree that there is an element of that to it, but it’s easy to say the level of threat has been overstated until something happens. It doesn’t hurt to keep people on their toes I guess.
