Hi I am thinking of treating me and my son to a bmx to mess about on, I know nothing and do not want to spend loads but do not want to buy any rubbish, any ideas what I should be looking for or any complete bikes?.

Go secondhand loads out there. Don’t buy a mafia. 21″ top tube or longer if you are tallish.

We the people and fit do some good completes.

If you are starting out you can get a lot for < £200

Watch a few and see what they go for. Run up to Christmas will push things up.

P.s make sure any bike either has a rear brake or still has the u brake mounts. Some frames are brakeless or people remove them.
