My dad's birthday is approaching and he's requested a bell for his Brompton.. My challenge is now to find the nicest bell I can!

Good luck Ben – I'm not sure how easy they are to get hold of. The Sogreni website may be quite old.

But…

in my experience a bell has to make the classic "bring-bring" noise, or people hear it but don't know what it is.

I'd stay away from those "ping" ones if I were you.

Cheers IA, that's what I'd found previously, but for more that £25. Just not sure if I like the design. I think this on eBay might get the nod over the MKS if I can't find a Sogreni dealer.

Can't see the Redfish making production in time! Also, I think a bell needs to be mechanical personally.

Looks like Kinetics have a Sogreni, albeit only the stainless steel one. Maybe give them a call?
