Just been checking my travel insurance policy. I’m covered for personal injury etc, but not if my bike is nicked or damaged. Is this the norm, and does anyone use a policy where the bike is covered as well as the individual? Thinking about this from the perspective of riding in the PPDS for eg….

Check your contents insurance – some companies do away from home cover, either as an add-on, or as standard. Last time I checked, M&S away from home covered our bikes even if they were lost/damaged on a flight…
