Hi, i just moved out to Austria but do travel to uk with my bike here and there.

I am looking and wanting to insure my bike only being worth £450 but i would still like to insure incase of damage or theft.

Now what routes am i looking at, as most i have seen i need to buy a £60 bike lock or prove how much i am out of the uk and only have my bike with me out of uk for max of 90 days a year.

Who do you guys use and how relaxed are they to claims and situations/inspections?

£450 bike? i'd save on the lock, skip the insurance and stick the premiums in a savings account.

arent bike premiums only like £15 a month anyhow?

add in any excess you'd have to pay and it really doesnt sound worth it.
