    Never climbed either myself, but you could go up Rangers as far as the Telegraph Valley turn-off, then ride down that before climbing all the way up Llanberis.

    if your riding it, then i would agree with the above, great descent down telegraph valley before th long climb up llanberis path, then descend back down rangers the whole way!! i have not tried rhyd ddu, however by all accounts from people that have the word “trechorous” (sp??) and “unrideable”spring to mind

    As above.I went down Rhyd ddu and wouldn’t want to go up it.

    It’s part of a South to North Wales ride and I’ll be coming from the west side. I obviously have to summit! I Rangers path it is then
