Per title, another “what travel insurance” question. Will need to include USA, >30 days total trip duration, and will be doing bicycle racing. Oh – and I’m 40+ age. Any recommendations?

I’ve just been to the States for Easter with the bike and will be back again this year. Pedalcover have just started doing more comprehensive travel insurance for cyclists and I go their DH level cover for £120 for an annual policy. They have improved their cover and I suspect they’d cover racing.

Elliot@pedalcover.co.uk is their travel insurance guy, I’d email him and see if they can cover your situation. He was very helpful with me (my wife is from the US and normally we get insurance from a special provider to cover US healthcare but she was happy with Pedalcover’s policy).
