Just found this in a cupboard.

Thing is it’s been there over ten years at least and last time I tried whiskey, I hated it. So do I just put it back, give it a try?

Try it, what’s the worst that can happen?

Get some water in a little jug. Get yourself in front of the fire, and relax into it.

Put it with some coke and ice, and watch the purists on here explode.

Looks dodgy, that packaging’s faded, so imagine the contents.
Definately follow jamie’s instructions. Coke’s great for a dicky tum!

….or pop some Skittles in it, like you can do, and I have done, with Vodka.

Surely donating it to poor little French kids is de rigueur and should get you a sainthood too.

I used a bottle of whiskey to try and defrost the radiator in a Mark II Escort once. Worked fairly well so I say keep it in case your car antifreeze does not work one day 🙂

bentandbroken reminds me of the time my brother’s Minivan ran out of petrol in France, he ran it for twenty miles on a mixture of Pernod, Brandy, meths and parafin with no ill effects.

Aghhhhhhhhhhh – no ice or coke or lemonade pleaseeee.
It needs to be room temp in a glass on its own (not too much) and just sip it. Before u know it u’ve sipped a bottle.
Dont forget u,ve aged (matured) ten years too 🙂

I abhor vodka, but I’m compelled by that video to make dodgy coloured drinks.
    Looks grim. Must try.

To expand on Jamie’s suggestion, instead of skittles, use pear drops. Put them in a few days before drinking, let them stew, then transfer the vodka to another bottle. Drink neat or with lemonade but always with ice. Delicious!

Don’t like vodka either and decided to put the whiskey back in the cupboard for another ten years.
