    Just looking for a cheap cassette. I'm not a person who buys XTR casettes, Normally Deore or PG950 SRAM all the way for me.

    So I noticed this cassette on CRC – http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=33517

    Looks ok, Suntour used to be good in the day. Never seen one before so don't have a clue if it will shit like a bag of spanners in a washing machine! Should imagine it will wear out just like any other Shimano or Sram.

    yep X-press shifters, self energising canti, XC pro was a great groupset

    Yeah, I've got one on my do everything bike. It works fine – not quite as smooth as Shimano but perfectly acceptable and the wear seems on a par too.
