Hi all,

Got a set of these on my new bike, now it's only been used for a few rides, and I've noticed some oil residue is appearing on one of the reservoir caps, you can even see a tiny amount coming out when you continually apply the brake.

This oil is coming out of the air vent (tiny hole on the reservoir cap), could this just be due to the bedding in period? or is it something more serious?

This brake isn't loosing pressure btw, and it's not been crashed/jet washed or anything like that.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Can do yeah ๐Ÿ™

The reservoir caps have Torx head fitting, but I don't think they're loose and I guess that wouldn't cause a leak from the air hole anyway...hmmm.

Nowt to worry about, just excess fluid, from the original bleed,on the outside of the diaphragm now working it's way out.Happens on a lot of brakes.

Its oil trapped between the diaphram and cover, nothing to worry about.
